If you have Administrative Permissions you will be able to set Client Portal Settings for your entire Organization.
- Hover over the Management tab in the navigation bar and select Client Portal Settings from the drop-down.
- Set desired Client Portal Settings (see descriptions below).
- Click Save.
Client Portal Settings Glossary
- Scheduling Using Portal - Select YES to allow Clients to schedule Appointments with their Provider via the Client Portal.
- Cancel Appointments - Select YES to allow Clients to cancel their upcoming Appointments with their Provider via the Client Portal.
- Hours until First Appointment - Set the minimum number of hours in advance a Client can schedule. Set at least 24 hours if you want to prevent same day scheduling.
- Hours in Advance an Appointment must be Cancelled - Set the minimum number of hours in advance a Client can cancel. Set at least 24 hours if you want to prevent same day cancelling.
- Number of Future Appointments - Set the number of future Appointments a Client is allowed to schedule via the Client Portal. This prevents a Client from monopolizing your schedule.
NOTE: This does not effect how many Appointments you or KASA may schedule for a given Client.
- Maximum Scheduling Time Frame (in Weeks) - Set how far into the future (in weeks) a Client can schedule an Appointment via the Client Portal.
- Message Center - Select ENABLED to enable the Message Center for Clients in the Client Portal. The Message Center allows to the Provider and Client to send HIPAA compliant messages. Click here to learn more.
- Client Display Name - Select whether you want the Client Default Name or Preferred Name in the Client Portal.
