You can join a Telehealth Session from your theraportal.com account. Each Telehealth Session link is valid for one session.
An orange Telehealth icon will display on the side menu on days that you have a Telehealth Session.
- Log in to theraportal.com.
- Click Appointments in the side menu.
- Click View Details button in the Telehealth Session section.
- Click Join Session button.
- The Join Session button will be greyed out until 10 minutes before the Appointment start time. At that time, the Join Session button will turn green and you will be able to join the Telehealth Session.
- If there are no Telehealth Sessions listed, review your Upcoming Appointments to ensure that your Appointment is still scheduled. If there is a scheduled Appointment but you do not see an option to join a Telehealth Session, contact your Provider as the Appointment may have been configured incorrectly.
- If this is your first Telehealth Session, enable meet.thera-link.com to use your microphone and camera.
- Click the drop-downs to select different audio and video inputs if desired.
- Click I'm Ready.
- Your will wait in the virtual waiting room until your Provider adds you to the Session.
Telehealth Session Actions
While in a Telehealth Session there are a number of actions available to you. The actions are available to you and the Client.
- Share Screen - You can share your screen with your Client and other Attendees.
IMPORTANT: Be aware of PHI that may be on your screen before you share your screen.
- View Attendees - Click to see a list of all Telehealth Session Attendees Name.
- Open Chat - Open Chat allows you to text chat with Attendees. This may be helpful if there are multiple Attendees.
- Leave Session - A Client can leave a Session.
- End Session - As a Provider, you can End the Session for all Attendees.
- Click the three vertical dots for either Attendee to expand additional options.
- Shrink/Enlarge- Will make Attendee video smaller, and the other Attendee video will be larger on the screen.
- Mute - This will mute the audio for that Attendee.
- Disable Video - This will turn off the Video for that Attendee.
