A Provider can join a Telehealth Session from the Appointment window in KASA. Each Telehealth Session link is valid for one session. If you end the session, you will not be able to start that session again.
IMPORTANT: The Launch Telehealth button will not display in the Appointment window until 10 minutes before the Appointment.
- Locate and open appropriate Telehealth Appointment on the Calendar.
NOTE: Telehealth Appointments are indicated with
icon. It will appear green
when you are able to launch the session.
- Click Launch Telehealth button.
- If this is your first Telehealth Session, enable meet.thera-link.com to use your microphone and camera.
- Click drop-downs to select different audio and video inputs if desired.
- Click I'm Ready.
- When Client joins, click Admit to add them to the Session. When they initially join they will wait in the virtual waiting room until you admit them.
Telehealth Session Actions
While in a Telehealth Session there are a number of actions available to you. The actions are available to you and the Client.
- Share Screen - You can share your screen with your Client and other Attendees.
IMPORTANT: Be aware of PHI that may be on your screen before you share your screen.
- View Attendees - Click to see a list of all Telehealth Session Attendees Name.
- Open Chat - Open Chat allows you to text chat with Attendees. This may be helpful if there are multiple Attendees.
- Leave Session - A Client can leave a Session.
- End Session - As a Provider, you can End the Session for all Attendees.
- Click the three vertical dots for either Attendee to expand additional options.
- Shrink/Enlarge- Will make Attendee video smaller, and the other Attendee video will be larger on the screen.
- Mute - This will Mute the audio for that Attendee.
- Disable Video - This will turn off the Video for that Attendee.
